Will I have to pay my rent every week or every month?

It’s your decision. You can choose to pay weekly or 2, 3, 4 or more weeks in advance.

The minimum is 1 week rent in advance.

Is there a wi-fi internet connection in the flat?

Yes, a fast WI-FI internet connection is offered for free in all the apartments.

Can I have guests in my room?

You are more than welcome to have your friends over during the day. However, having guests during the night is not allowed as against Fire and Safety regulations.

Will I get my deposit back? When?

You will of course get your deposit back at the end of your stay, provided the contract has not been breached and you paid your rent on time. The deposit is usually transferred by the accommodation provider back to you in 10/14 working days after your check-out.

The contract includes a minimum stay of 5 weeks. Will I have to leave the room after this period?

Not at all. If you are happy with your room and you wish to stay, you just need to inform your Accommodation Provider of this within the right timeframe and you will be more than welcome to enjoy your room or flat as long as you wish.

How will I pay my rent?

There will be many different ways to pay your rent. The most common include bank transfer, pay-in at the bank counter and PayPal. The Accommodation Provider will explain all the available methods so that you can choose the right one for you.

Can I change my room if I don’t like the one I have chosen?

In a few words: yes! If you don’t like the room you are in, you can always get in touch with your Accommodation Provider or with us: they -or we – will give you some other options to choose from. However, remember that with us you can try your room for 5 weeks before committing to longer terms!

Can I view a room before deciding to take it?

If you are already in London we can arrange a viewing of the room.  Please be aware that we are receiving a high number of enquiries every day  and usually a room sells in less than 24 hours.

So if you like the room, book it!

Why can’t I rent a room if I am older than 40 or younger than 18?

All the tenants in the apartments are students or young professionals, normally aged between 18 and 35. We strive to keep harmony and a peaceful environment in the flats, and we understand that routines, needs and standards become very different as you grow up. That’s why we want to keep everyone within the same age group and therefore can not accept reservations from clients that don’t fall within this range. Sorry about that.

We can’t accept underage due to insurance requirements.

Are there any options in areas like Piccadilly Circus, Hyde Park or Covent Garden?

As you may know, those areas are the beating heart of London, and also the most expensive to live in. From time to time we may have something close to the main points of zone 1, but you will have to be prepared to spend almost twice the prices of other areas.

How many people live in the apartments?

Depending on the flat size and how many bedrooms in them, the number of flatmates may vary. Usually they range from 5 to 8, although there may be bigger flats with a higher number of flatmates. In any case, our staff will give you this information for every room you may be interested in.

Of course as flat sharers ourselves we know the importance of not sharing the bathroom and other facilities with too many people. So usually a property with 8 tenants will have at least 2 bathrooms.

Where will be my flatmates from?

Our clients come from all over the world. 80% of them are from European countries like France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Greece, Poland, etc. There are also people from China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan, as well as other countries.

Is there a living room in the flats?

Some flats have communal areas like living room, garden, terrace or dining room; some other flats do not.

Is there a washing machine in the flats?

All the apartments are equipped with a washing machine.

Will I find cookware, pottery, cutlery, pans and glassware in the flats?

All the flats are usually stocked with pans, pots, dishes, glasses, cutlery and cooking tools. You will have to share this with your flatmates and you are more than welcome to bring your own and add your style to the flat!

Will I find bedding and linen?

Usually bedsheets, duvets, covers and linen are not provided for hygiene and allergy reasons.

How long before do I have to tell you I want to leave my room?

It may vary from 2 to 4 weeks depending on the room you will choose. We will of course tell you your notice period before you sign any contract, so you will be aware of it when choosing your room
